Vanakkam PDX

New beginnings are always exciting. And as someone who prides in working with startups and small businesses, this project was close to heart. Vanakkam PDX is a South Indian restaurant in Beaverton, Oregon. The owner approached me on a tight deadline to design printable flyers  and social media posts for the Soft Opening and Grand Opening along with Menus for the store. 

I had so much fun in choosing the colors & Fonts and coming up with fun, eye catching designs that represent the occasion. I put in meticulous effort in choosing and using my camera to get the right images to enhance the visual appeal of the Grand Opening Posters and Flyers. 

The menu was another aspect that needed to be easy to read while condensing their wide variety of offerings into 3 panels. Showcasing the different menu categories was also essential. After showing the client a few designs for the menu, we agreed that the one displayed here was the best of all – simple and easy to read, with clear usage of fonts and contrasting colors.
